Crawl Space Problems
A dirt crawl space is the #1 source of moisture in any home, letting in gallons of water each day in the form of water vapor. Crawl spaces tend to be great places to hide if you are a bug or rodent. With the dark damp conditions crawl spaces are a haven for spiders, ants, termites, mice and many other pests commonly found in these areas.
Additionally, crawl spaces have high humidity levels which makes it the perfect environment for mold spores (which are everywhere in the air) to attach and begin to grow. Floor joists, insulation, dirt, even plywood underneath the carpet you walk on are made from organic materials which is what feeds mold and bacteria which causes these elements to break down leading to structural damage and poor air quality. Serious health hazards can occur by breathing harmful mold and bacteria.

Installation
Our professionally trained installers will remove unwanted material and debris.Once the crawl space is prepared we will roll out the liner and carefully cut to fit the desired space. Nylon push fasteners are installed to permanently attach the liner to the wall. The top of the liner is sealed with a polyurethane sealant. Each seam is joined with 3” sealing tape. Any objects such as pipes, piers, sump baskets, etc. are also sealed with a combination of the polyurethane sealant and the sealant tape to ensure that humidity, insects or harmful gasses are isolated.
